5 Movies You Don’t Wanna Miss at Rejecta Film Festival This Weekend

NEW YORK, NY — As Rejecta Film Festival kicks off this weekend across the street from a larger, more official festival (we assume they know we’re here), one question remains on everyone’s mind:

What should I see?

The answer is clear, overwhelming, and a little bit surreal:

Mooch. And again. And again. And again. And again.

Yes — there may technically only be one film playing this weekend. But after reviewing the film ourselves here at Film Market Live, we can confidently report that it takes approximately five watches to fully grasp everything that the writer, director, actor, editor, LLC-starter, uncredited producer, press junket creator, festival director intended.

So without further ado, here are the 5 can’t-miss films of Rejecta 2025:

🎥 1. Mooch

The first watch is just to experience the vibe. You’ll likely have questions. That’s normal.
